Beauty Town of Chhatak

Chhatak Town:

Chhatak, town, northeastern Bangladesh. It lies on the Left Bank of the Surma River.

The town rose to prominence when a gas field was discovered nearby in 1959. Chhatak features a large cement factory powered by gas. The town also exports gas also as citrus fruits, cement, limestone, and pulp and paper products.
